COOKING Course "A CHEF IN MY KITCHEN"

AETIGT organizes for this coming October a cooking course entitled "A CHEF TO MY KITCHEN?" .

This is not the first time this type of course is organized, previously the CETIT has already organized and has been very successful among colleagues and relatives.

The objective of this course is that the participant obtains a basic degree of culinary self-sufficiency in the elaboration of dishes and whole menus by working basic culinary techniques for wide gastronomic results.

Knowing new products and their applications, as well as working with basic ingredients with different applications and work to cause-error cooking, are other objectives of this course.

PROGRAM (30 h):

Preparation and conservation of foods:
- Recognition and pre-elaboration of products.
- Principles for the conservation of raw, semi-finished and elaborate genera

Culinary techniques:
- Cooking processes and techniques.
- Basic culinary elaborations.
- Elemental culinary techniques.
- Fittings and decorative elements.
- Finishes and presentations.

Culinary products:
- Preparation of Catalan cuisine, Spanish territorial cuisines and international cuisine.
- Creative cuisine.
- Decoration and exhibition of dishes.

DATES: from October 7 to November 25, 2010, ALL THURSDAY. Closing lunch Saturday, November 27, 2010.

SCHEDULE: from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (during the classes culinary preparations are prepared and at the end of the session they will taste).

PLACE: Institut Escola d'Hoteleria i Turisme de Cambrils, Passeig Marítim, s / n.

DOCUMENTATION: tracking documentation will be delivered.

SHOULD BE CARRIED: white coat, apron and kitchen utensils (small knife, spit knife and kitchen scissors).
