The Industrial Technical Foundation, on the occasion of the 60th Anniversary of the Industrial Tech magazine, and with the participation in the sponsorship of Wolters Kluwer Formación SA, of the Wolters Kluwer Spain business group, and this foundation, convenes a special prize with € 5,500 in two phases , a first to reward the idea and another to reward its implementation, with a diploma, on the topic A project of practical ideas for entrepreneurs, as specified below and in section 4 of these bases .
Objective and candidates
The works that are the object of this announcement will have to deal with a business opportunities project for entrepreneurs that encompasses the guidelines for creating a company providing solutions that simplify the maximum creation and use of the most appropriate logistics. It is about rewarding the development and implementation of an innovative idea in the business and industrial field. All this, with the desire to contribute to promoting initiatives that in these times of crisis lead us to raise the real and practical scenario of better opportunities for entrepreneurs.
The candidates for this award may be members of the colleges of architects and technical industrial engineers integrated in the Trustees of the Technical Industrial Foundation and that as entrepreneurs present a project or initiative on the creation of a business Corporate or industrial level at the individual or collective level, put into practice after this call or to become a reality in the six months following the award of this prize, adhered to the bases of this contest and that the same see about The subject of the call, from a theoretical approach as well as from the point of view of its fields of application, from a practical perspective of the study of the experiences of action, and has already been put in practice or put within the six months following the granting of the prize.
Characteristics of the works
The prize stipulated in the previous section is intended to recognize the work resulting in the creation of a business or company that involves entrepreneurial initiatives in the business and industrial field.
The methodological aspects, the solid argument, the opportunity of the subject, the clarity of the conclusions and the real implementation of the entrepreneurial idea will be valued, especially.
Endowment
The special prize convened to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Industrial Technical magazine, included in this modality and described in the first and second sections, is endowed with a cash quantity of 5,500 euros, divided into two phases:
First phase: entrepreneurial idea.
It will be equipped with 1,000 euros, and the best entrepreneurial project will be rewarded.
Second stage: execution of the entrepreneurial idea. It will be equipped with 4,500 euros, and will be awarded whenever the initiative that has been awarded in the first phase has been carried out or carried out.
Taking this into account, entrepreneurial ideas can be presented that have been executed from the day after the publication of the bases (October 1, 2012), and in case they have not been put into practice, a period of six months from the granting of the prize of the first phase to take it to practice and thus to receive the corresponding amount to the second phase.
The winner who receives the prize, in the first or the two phases of the prize, will be paid the liquid amount resulting from practicing the discount that is legally appropriate.
Edition of the awarded works
The granting of the prize implies the assignment of the copyright, in case it gave rise to the publication in digital format or on paper by the foundation.
Presentation
The works that are the object of the competition will not include identification or must be signed, must indicate at the end of the same the chosen title or subject and will be presented in computer support, written in Spanish, with the text in double space and with a minimum equivalent extension to 40 folios. A summary of maximum extension equivalent to 10 folios will also be included. The work that is presented (next to the summary of the same) will be done in duplicate in the computer support (Word program), showing in each copy the title or motto, and will be introduced in a closed envelope, It will also insert the title or motto.
In a smaller envelope, included in the one indicated above, the annex will be added to the bases of the call, a photocopy of the DNI or passport and a short resume of the contestant to the prize. The purpose of requesting a summary of the work is for the publication, if it were to take place, by the foundation, if the work corresponding to this call was awarded.
Terms and place of presentation
The works must be sent to the Technical Industrial Foundation, located in the building. Pablo Iglesias number 2, 2n, 28003 Madrid, directly or through the respective schools of each territorial demarcation by the means they deem appropriate (mail, courier service ...) from the day after the publication of this announcement to the 2:00 pm on December 13, 2013.
Jury and resolution
The jury appointed by the foundation will be composed of the following members: President of the Technical Industrial Foundation or person delegated; Deputy Secretary of the Technical Industrial Foundation, manager of the Technical Industrial Foundation, two members of the Permanent Commission of the Foundation and a representative of the Wolters Kluwer Training Group. The submitted papers will be subjected previously to experts in the field from the university or prestigious companies of recognized prestige, who will issue a pre-jury evaluation report for their resolution.
It is made known to the participants that those works of the same content that have been awarded previously by the foundation, or by any school, that have already been published in the industrial technical magazine or in any other publication, legal or technical, will be out of the competition.
The decision of the jury will be made public on the date fixed for it, which may not exceed on November 15, 2013, and will be communicated in writing to all participants. The decision of the jury will be unappealable, and by the fact of competing, the contestants renounce any challenge of their decisions or action against the bases. The prize can be declared desert in the opinion of the jury.
Return of work
The works that are not awarded may be claimed by their authors within two months from the date of award of the awards at the delivery address thereof, personally or by letter request the return of certified mail. That award-winning work will be part of the funds of the publications service of the Technical Industrial Foundation.
