We want to inform you that, according to a ruling issued on October 17, 2012 and notified on October 29, by the Third Section of the Contentious-Administrative Court of the Supreme Court, in appeal No. 271/2011, filed by COGITI against the Royal Decree 346/2011, of March 11, Regulatory Regulation of the Common Infrastructures of Telecommunications is favorable to be able to draft and sign projects, and it is open to colleagues to design the projects of the common telecommunications infrastructures in buildings (ICT).
In this judgment, it reiterates the sentences issued by the same Chamber on January 22, 2004 and February 15, 2005, which recognize the technical training of the Engineering of the Industrial branches to formulate the projects of common telecommunication infrastructures.
Secession repeals article 3.1 of Royal Decree-Law 1/1998, in the wording that was introduced in Law 10/2005, of June 14, which attributed the exclusive competence to this matter to the Technical Engineers or Telecommunication Engineers and declares null the new Regulation of 2011 where it established the exclusive competence.
For this reason, as of that date the school has the authority to carry out the tasks of documentary review of the work that certifies the knowledge and technical capacity for the signature, facultative direction and certification in the matter of telecommunications.
