The current economic situation makes possible the return of some factories in Catalonia, an unthinkable phenomenon a few years ago after decades of relocation. We face a new phenomenon that brings hope and optimism to the industrial fabric of Catalonia.
With our country still affected by a deep crisis, there are many voices that allege that the productive model must be changed so that it does not fall back on the same errors and believe it is necessary to return to bet on the industry, as Catalonia has traditionally done. After decades of relocation, it seems that the moment of relocation comes about: it is the turn and the return of the industry. Thus, for example, the great Catalan employer, Foment del Treball Nacional: "There must be a return, because a country without industry is not a country, it is a weak country."
