The agreement recognizes a common field of trade unions, as defenders of workers' social and labor rights, and professional colleges, as guarantors of good professional practice, independence and responsibility for professional events, in relationships Work for others, because in this space the professional sociolaboral is distinguished from the professional.
The agreement establishes a commitment for professional colleges to develop continuous training programs for professionals in order to improve working conditions and the professional career and adapt professional knowledge to the knowledge state available at any time by Perform a quality professional service.
The agreement also establishes the objective of eradicating contracts that, under the appearance of leasing of professional services, hurt the workers and tackle irregular situations.
UGT and the Professional Union have agreed to establish a permanent relationship, through the creation of a joint and joint committee, which will allow to exchange information and establish common objectives, among other aspects, regarding the Welfare State, to attention to dependency and equal opportunities, and at the international level, in the European Social Dialogue, through the Eurocadres (European Council of Professionals and Directors) agreement, which is part of UTC-UGT, and the CEPLIS (European Council for the Liberal Professions), of which the Professional Union is a member.
