The Dean of Engineers Tarragona participates in the sixth edition of the Terres de l'Ebre Economic Forum at the Ferreries Civic Center, a meeting point for businesspeople, administrations and experts.
This year's edition has been focused on debating and promoting initiatives that can reactivate and energize the local economy, with the aim of facing energy challenges with innovative solutions that allow Terres de l'Ebre to move towards a more sustainable and competitive model under the slogan "Energy that transforms: a new energy horizon for Terres de l'Ebre".
Several experts and institutions have debated key issues such as electrification, bioenergy and the use of green hydrogen to improve local competitiveness. One of the highlights of the day has been the presentation of the energy community Cambra Ebrecel, a project that exemplifies cooperation between the administration and the private sector. This initiative seeks to respond to the current climate emergency by promoting renewable energies and efficiency in consumption.
In short, the event underlined that the region wants to lead the change of model so as not to be left behind in the country's strategic projects. In this way, Terres de l'Ebre positions itself as an active engine of transformation that benefits both industry and civil society.
