THE COLLEGE ORGANIZES THE EFFICIENT ENERGY CONGRESS IN SOUTHERN CATALONIA ON JUNE 9 AND 10, 2026

The Professional Association of Industrial Technical Engineers of Tarragona is already working on the organization of the Efficient Energy Congress in Southern Catalonia , which will take place on June 9 and 10, 2026 and which aims to become a reference meeting point for professionals, administration, companies and entities linked to the energy transition and sustainability in the territory.

The congress will be structured into two thematic days:

• June 9, 2026: Energy Efficiency Day

• June 10, 2026: Sustainable Mobility Day

The first day, dedicated to energy efficiency , is intended as a space for debate and cross-cutting analysis focused on the main areas of activity in the territory. In general terms, it will focus on different sectors, such as the tertiary sector, the residential sector, the primary sector and the industrial sector, with the aim of addressing the main challenges, opportunities and experiences linked to the energy transition in each of these areas.

The second day is promoted on the occasion of the publication of Law 9/2025, of December 3, on sustainable mobility , with the aim of generating a space for technical analysis and exchange of experiences around the challenges and opportunities posed by this new regulatory framework.

Throughout the two days, key issues related to energy efficiency, innovation, decarbonization, electrification, sustainable mobility, infrastructure and the practical application of new solutions in the public and private sectors will be addressed.

The congress will feature the participation of representatives from the administration, technical organizations, leading companies and entities in the territory, with the aim of offering an applied, current and useful vision for all professionals in the sector. It will also be aimed at our professional community and the general public.

In the coming weeks, the final program, participating speakers, and the venue will be announced.
