IN-PRESENTIAL SESSIONS OF THE DIGITAL SKILLS COURSE

These sessions are aimed at technicians who are taking the digital skills course at Enginyers Tarragona. These are completely free face-to-face sessions, which reinforce online training and skills for digital work. If you are not taking the course and are interested in doing so, you can contact formació@enginyerstarragona.cat before 31/03/2026.

General Course Planning

Transversal Training:

• 40 hours of online training

Specific training:

• 110 hours of online training
• 10 hours of live webinar training.
• 20 face-to-face hours

  Objectives of face-to-face training

The general objective of this course is to effectively apply Machine Learning techniques and generative models (such as ChatGPT) in different engineering fields and applications, in order to improve efficiency and process automation. Participants will learn to use AI and ML tools in their professional environments, automating tasks, processing images and generating content using generative artificial intelligence.

Face-to-face training program

Name: Practical application of AI in Industrial projects.

Duration: 20 hours

Index of face-to-face sessions:

Module 1. Image processing in Machine Learning.

• Image classification.
• Target detection in images.

Module 2: Automation of AI/ML tasks in Engineering.

• Automatic generation of models with OptiML.
• Automatic playback with scripts.
• End-to-end ML

Module 3: Understanding generative artificial intelligence: ChatGPT, Gemeni, NotebookLM and other tools.

• Text generation: ChatGPT, Gemeni, NotebookLM and other tools
• Prompt engineering
• Customization of use cases.

Time distribution:

• Module 1: 6 hours.
• Module 2: 6 hours.
• Module 3: 8 hours.
