PRESENTATION OF THE UPRO PROGRAM, THE FIRST TRAINING PROGRAM IN DIGITAL SKILLS IN THE FIELD OF PROFESSIONAL COLLEGES

On October 29, Unió Professional presented the advances of UPRO, a Training Program in Digital Skills in the field of Professional Associations with the aim of training 80,000 students in key skills such as digitalization, artificial intelligence and technological tools applied to different professional sectors.

The program already has more than 40,000 students , it began on October 13, 2025, with a pilot phase prior to September of the same year; with an end date of June 30, 2026. It was marked in the Generation D initiative, promoted by Red.es , an entity attached to the Ministry for Digital Transformation and the Public Service through the Secretariat of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence.

Upro is 100% subsidized and has a budget of 200 million euros. The actions are financed for the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan through the Next Generation funds of the European Union, within the framework of investment 3 of component 19, National Digital Skills Plan.

The event was attended by Salvador González, vice president of the Professional Union, Jesús Aguilar, general secretary of the Professional Union and Jesús Herrero, general director of Red.es , and also included the participation of representatives from various professional associations.

The Digital Skills Training Program in the field of Professional Associations offers cross-curricular training with a focus on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and new digital tools. It covers a complete itinerary that includes everything from time management, digital leadership, and agile methodologies, to the advanced use of collaborative tools such as: Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Power BI, Power Platform, and CRM. It also addresses key areas including generative AI and its integration into the Microsoft 365 environment.

All with modular and progressive content that allows professionals to acquire strategic skills to lead digital transformation in their respective professional sectors.

This is a free, flexible, practical and sector-specific training, with a program of 150 hours, 40 common and 110 specific according to each professional field. In a flexible hybrid modality (online and face-to-face), accessible 24/7 on the platform.
