CETIT culminates a day of recognition with a commemorative evening full of commitment and collective pride

We celebrated one hundred years of engineering, innovation and commitment in an event that brought together more than 500 professionals, members, authorities and representatives of different entities, to commemorate the centenary of our College on Engineer's Day.

During the Centenary Day, the Lluís Roca i Garcia Awards were presented, awarded to Anna Sas, and the Innovation and Sustainability Award, which this year went to the Tarragona Port Authority. The milestones achieved by the group were highlighted, exemplary professional trajectories were recognized, and visions of the future focused on technological transformation and environmental responsibility were shared.

Also, recognitions were given to members and historical figures of the institution. The dean, Joan G. Talarn , highlighted the transformative role of engineering in the territory, valuing the essential role of industrial technical engineers in the construction of a more competitive territory; and Minister Jordi Hereu valued our profession as a driver of reindustrialization and sustainability.

The event concluded with a commemorative dinner, putting an end to a day full of emotion.
