On June 4th, the Presentation of the FUE 2025-2028 Plan in Tarragona (Salou) was held at the Auditorium Theater in Salou.
Engineers Tarragona, participated in its presentation by the Dean of the College, who participated in the Round Table: the facilitation of economic activity, a shared objective, the Dean commented that it is a very ambitious plan technically, and that it can be a very important advance, but indicated that it would be necessary to be more ambitious in the deadlines of the files.
The FUE 2025-2028 Plan aims to streamline economic activity in Catalonia by simplifying formalities and procedures so that companies can open and operate more easily, reducing time and administrative burdens.
Building on the improvements achieved in recent years, this new plan promotes digitalization, automation and coordination between administrations to offer more efficient and proactive services.
The current FUE Plan has 5 major challenges:
1. We make complex procedures easy and agile
The aim is to reduce the time and costs of opening businesses with environmental or health and safety impacts. To achieve this, the BIM methodology will be applied to facilitate the processing of authorizations and licenses, and urban planning processes and other complex procedures will be digitized and standardized.
2. More data-driven services and less bureaucracy
Procedures will be transformed into proactive and personalized digital services, making better use of data. This will reduce bureaucracy and make information more accessible to companies.
3. We make everyday life easier
Administrative burdens in fulfilling periodic obligations will be reduced through digitalization and artificial intelligence. Inspection and control systems will also be improved to make them more efficient.
4. Let's talk
Communication between administration and companies will be strengthened to better publicize the FUE and collect proposals for improvement. This will be done using clear language and innovative dissemination channels.
5. Training of public professionals
Public workers will be trained so that they have the necessary skills to offer a more agile service adapted to the needs of companies.
