The Imperi Romà Design team wins the Integrator Project 1 competition for the Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the URV

On May 27, the Integrative Project 1 competition for the Degree in Mechanical Engineering was held at the URV, where the teams presented their mobile phones designed and built during the course.

On this occasion the students have developed a catapult powered by a spring, with which they have to throw a ball and hit a target located on the ground at a series of preset distances. The project is the result of a design process that began with the theoretical formalization of the problem, the implementation in parametric CAD and finally the construction of the machine.

This competition, which took place on Tuesday, June 27 in the afternoon at the Sescelades campus, is organized by the Higher Technical School of Chemical Engineering, with the sponsorship of the prizes by the Tarragona College of Technical Industrial Engineers. The secretary of the College, Núria Llosas, presented the prizes to the members of the winning team.
