The AEQT and the College of Industrial Technical Engineers of Tarragona sign a collaboration agreement

The Tarragona College of Industrial Technical Engineers (CETIT) and the Tarragona Chemical Companies Association, AEQT, have signed a collaboration agreement, through which both entities commit to joining efforts and establishing paths of action that promote mutual benefit.

The signing ceremony was attended by Joan Gabriel Talarn, dean of CETIT and Ignasi Cañagueral, president of AEQT. As well as Antoni Blánquez, manager of CETIT and Maria Mas, managing director of AEQT.

Within the framework of this agreement, the two entities will collaborate in the organization and dissemination of activities of common interest. Industrial Technical Engineers of Tarragona deploys a wide range of training and develops technical conferences. In this sense, workers of companies associated with the AEQT will enjoy a 20% discount on the price of the activity. The AEQT, for its part, undertakes to disseminate among the companies that make up it the training conferences, conferences and services offered by the CETIT.

Technical Engineers of Tarragona and the AEQT may organize joint training and dissemination events of a technical nature that are of interest to the engineers of their companies in particular and to society in general if they deem it appropriate.

The agreement constitutes a new path to be taken between both entities with joint synergies for the development and promotion of updated knowledge that drives transformation and competitiveness.

The provincial-level College with more than 1,200 members has as one of its functions the promotion of continuous training and professional development of its members, being a meeting point for engineers, promoting collaboration and the exchange of ideas, being essential for ensuring quality, ethics and innovation in the field of engineering.

The Tarragona Chemical Companies Association, AEQT, is made up of 34 leading companies in the chemical sector on an international scale. The chemical companies of Tarragona work with the firm will to be part of the solution to the global challenges of sustainable development.
