Asbestos-related subsidies

Removal, at source, of waste insulation and construction materials containing asbestos, located in the territorial area of Catalonia. Call for applications for the year 2024.

This line of subsidies aims to promote the removal at source of waste insulation and construction materials containing asbestos, located in the territorial area of Catalonia, and the correct management of asbestos waste.

The purpose of the subsidy is to promote and encourage the removal of waste insulation and construction materials containing asbestos, and to ensure that this is carried out in optimal conditions, with the ultimate aim of environmental improvement and minimization of the risk that this material poses to public health.

Owners of real estate that contain asbestos elements from construction that promote asbestos removal will be considered beneficiaries and may benefit from aid for the removal and management of asbestos waste, whether they are natural or legal persons, public or private, or neighborhood communities.

From January 15, 2025 until the budget availability is exhausted and in any case until November 28, 2025.
