New procedure for communicating the commissioning of a charging point for electric vehicles

Communication of the registration of new charging points either in a new station (all charging points are new) or of new points in an already existing charging station.

This procedure is aimed at operators of publicly accessible electric vehicle charging points.

Once they have started the activity, they must communicate the commissioning of the charging points and any changes that affect their availability, operation, hours, etc., as well as those that affect ownership, location or operation.

The sending of the information on the recharging points through this procedure must be done at the beginning of the recharging service provision activity and every time a modification is made.

The procedure has four modalities, communication of new charging points, modification of information, change of operator and cancellation of the charging point.

This procedure can only be done online. The documentation that is provided through another channel will not be taken into account or calculated for the purposes of the presentation date.

Based on this communication from the operators, the administration registers the new points or updates the list of public access electric vehicle charging facilities in Catalonia.
