Tarragona engineers present at the inauguration of the 24-25 academic year of the URV

This Friday, October 11, the inauguration of the 24-25 academic year took place in the Great Hall of the Catalonia Campus of the URV with the presence of Engineers Tarragona.

The event's welcome was given by the rector of the University, Dr. Josep Pallarès.

During the event, the Report of the 23-24 academic year was presented, there were the speeches of Mr. Josep Poblet Tous, president of the Social Council, of Mrs. Sandra Ramos García, second deputy mayor, minister of culture and festivals, universities, democratic memory and animal welfare and of the Hble. Ms. Núria Montserrat Pulido, Councilor for Research and Universities of the Generalitat de Catalunya

The event featured the inaugural lecture "Artificial Intelligence: Transforming the relationship between humanity and technology", by Ms. Susana Prado García, director general of INETUM in Catalonia and president of 22@Network BC.

The event was closed by Mr. Josep Pallarès Marzal, Rector Mgfc. from the Rovira i Virgili University.
