Specifically, the chemical risk sirens will sound in the following municipalities: Tarragona, Canonja, Reus, Vila-seca, Salou, Constantí, La Pobla de Mafumet, El Morell, les Pallaresos, les Garidells, Perafort and Vilallonga del Camp and Tortosa.

The main objective of these types of exercises is to familiarize the population with warning sounds. In addition, these tests are necessary to evaluate the acoustic coverage of the sirens and to verify the operation of the equipment and the activation system.

We remind you that in addition to activating the chemical risk sirens, a civil protection alert will be sent to mobile phones in the same area.
