Meeting with the Director of the Catalan Energy Institute

Last February 8, the dean of CETIT, Joan G Talarn, met with the Director of the Catalan Energy Institute (ICAEN), Marta Morera, as well as with the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Tortosa, Francesc Faiges, with the director of Territorial Services, Jesús Gómez, the president of COPATE, Ivan García.

The director of the ICAEN, has made an exhibition on the current situation of the Energy Communities from all over the country, and in particular the energy community of Els Valentins, what will be convenient for the supply of electricity to neighbors of origin renewable energy and electric mobility services with a photovoltaic generation facility that will also test agrovoltaic practice.

The administrative complication, in part due to the large volume of applications submitted in all lines of renewables, or the delay in their resolution and which affects business projects in the territory, have also been issues discussed by Morera.

During the meeting, there was also talk of establishing collaboration agreements that could be beneficial for the territory to install business energy transition offices in the Terres de l'Ebre.
