This initiative has a budget of 12 million euros. The deadline for applying for grants is now open and will end on December 29, 2023, at 3 p.m. And the execution will conclude on December 28, 2026.
Who can hire?
- Non-profit entities, including associations and foundations.
- Associated work cooperatives.
- Private natural or legal persons and communities of property, with the capacity to enter into an employment contract.
- Corporations under public law.
Which contracts are subsidized?
In this call, the indefinite contract modality is eligible, in accordance with current labor regulations. Salary and Social Security expenses borne by the beneficiary entity of indefinite contracts signed with people who meet the requirements of this call will also be subsidized, for a maximum of 12 months. These conditions cannot be altered during the eligible period.
In addition, the contracts must be full-time, must be subscribed to professional categories 3 to 11 and the companies must have the work center in Catalonia.
Which people can be accommodated?
- Unemployed people aged 45 or over.
- Long-term unemployed of 30 years or more.
- Unemployed migrants of non-EU origin aged 30 or over.
- Unemployed women aged 30 or over in a vulnerable situation, who meet one or more of the following requirements: Be recipients of the guaranteed citizenship income; in a situation of sexist violence; mothers of single-parent families. This requirement can be proven by presenting the single-parent family card; have a legally recognized disability; being unemployed and not receiving unemployment benefits.
Is there a period of stay for the people hired?
A mandatory 24-month period of stay is established for the participants from December 28, 2024. This stay period will only be required in the event of termination of the contract for objective reasons or collective dismissal by of the company It is not applicable if the employment relationship is terminated for reasons attributed to the voluntary resignation of the employee, retirement, death, total or absolute permanent incapacity or great disability of the employee or disciplinary dismissal.
Failure to comply with this obligation will result in a partial revocation of the grant granted, in accordance with base 25.4.b.iv, of Order EMT/214/2021, of November 17.
When is the subsidy paid?
70 percent of the amount will be awarded from its concession. Ten percent once the period of stay begins and the declaration of partial implementation of the commitments has been presented. And the remaining 20 percent, once the execution of the action is duly justified, including the period of stay.
What documentation must be attached to the application?
- The technical and economic memory.
- The work contract or contracts subject to the aid, duly signed and communicated to Contract@ with indication of the number of the contribution group.
- The declaration of absence of conflict of interest of applicant entities, DACI.
- A sufficient power of attorney attesting to the signatory's powers of representation. Mandatory when it cannot be proven in records or the electronic signature does not prove it.
- A copy of the public deed or the contract of incorporation, in the case of private civil societies, SCP.
How can a company access the grant?
It must be addressed to the promoting entity that manages the program in the municipality. It should be borne in mind that, to guarantee equal opportunities and non-discrimination, it is established that it is the promoting entity that manages the program that carries out the selection process and sends the candidates it considers most suitable for the job to be filled. Therefore, the person who has been proposed by the hiring company is not considered a candidate.
If a person is unemployed, can he apply for the subsidy?
This person can go to their employment office to be informed if they meet the requirements and can participate in this or other employment programs.
