The Catalan Energy Institute (ICAEN) has approved Resolution ACC/1466/2023, of April 20, which modifies and expands the budget for the aid called for through Resolution ACC/2416/2022, of July 25. for the granting of subsidies for incentive programs for the implementation of thermal renewable energy installations in different sectors of the economy within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed with European Next Generation funds .
The initial resolution indicated that of the available budget corresponding to Catalonia (27,313,538.00 euros), 26,494,132.00 euros were allocated to this call for subsidies and the rest to indirect expenses.
Subsequently, the Resolution of December 22, 2022 of the Institute for Diversification and Energy Saving (IDAE) expanded the aid budget for the implementation of incentive programs for the implementation of energy thermal renewables in different sectors of the economy. According to this Resolution, Catalonia was entitled to an additional 27,313,538 euros.
As in the previous resolution, of the new available budget corresponding to Catalonia (27,313,538.00 euros), 26,494,132.00 euros will be allocated to this call for aid and a maximum of 819,406.00 euros will be allocated to possible costs indirect attributable to the subsidized actions.
This extension applies to the following programs, in which the following amounts will be allocated:
Incentive program 1: implementation of thermal renewable energy installations in the industrial, agricultural, services and/or other sectors of the economy, including the residential sector.
- It is increased by 19,870,599.00 euros, resulting in a total allocation of 38,416,491.00 euros.
Incentive program 2: implementation of thermal renewable energy installations in non-residential buildings, establishments and public sector infrastructures.
- It is increased by 6,623,533.00 euros, resulting in a total allocation of 14,571,773.00 euros.
- 1,000,000.00 euros are allocated, which will be for actions by the Generalitat de Catalunya for direct investments.
