Aid to projects of new business models in the energy transition

The Instituto para la Diversificación y Ahorro de la Energía (IDAE), a body attached to the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, has published the regulatory bases for the granting of aid, in the form of a lost-fund subsidy, to new business model projects in the energy transition.

The objective of the call is to finance new business models that offer solutions to the challenges posed by the energy transition and that are related to innovation, the provision of flexibility services that allow greater integration of renewable energies or the promotion and development of new business projects (startups) that provide innovative solutions for the energy transition.

This call is part of investment 3 of component 8 of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan which refers to "New business models in the energy transition".
