THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE INDUSTRIAL TECHNICAL ENGINEER IN THE PREPARATION OF EXPERT REPORTS

The professional attributions of industrial technical engineers were regulated by Law 12/1986, of April 1, which in its article 1, establishes that technical engineers "... will have full powers and attributions in the exercise of the their profession within the scope of their respective technical specialty…”.

Among these attributions is the preparation of expert reports. Thanks to their training and professional experience, industrial technical engineers have the necessary knowledge to issue expert reports and have them taken into account in an administrative or judicial framework.
