The College of Industrial Technical Engineers of Tarragona has improved its ordinary visa service through a program created by David Bernal, from the visa area of CETIT, which facilitates the calculation and help procedures to manage the application forms of the professionals. The aim is to quickly and accurately assess the cost of the work project visa, which has so far been carried out using other, more costly and less effective systems for the parties involved.
In order to familiarize members with this important computer advance, on October 1, CETIT has organized a technical conference where all the details about this new program will be given to all members who are dedicated to the free exercise of the profession, both from a company and independently, as well as to workers who regularly use the administrative service of the visa.
The day, led by David Bernal himself, will be held from 19:00 to 20:00 at the headquarters of the school in Tarragona (Avda Roma, 7) which will connect by video conference with the headquarters in Tortosa. During this day, it will be about the knowledge of the basic concepts about the program, the introduction of data and the calculation of visa fees as well as the sending of files online, the basic statistics of processed files and the exit of lists. .
The next step in this important management improvement will be that the initial calculations can be sent to the school by e-mail in order to advance the procedures that are carried out in person at the CETIT headquarters.
In addition to the regular visa service, which will now be improved, CETIT has been offering a telematic visa service through the computer systems of the company Netfocus, since 2003. This possibility allows the verification of a professional project in visa, from data collection to receipt, can be done digitally even if the paper documentation is submitted. In this way, the entire procedure for requesting, presenting, collecting and paying for documents can be done online, at any time of the day and without having to travel to the school headquarters. As you will recall, with this system and thanks to the agreement signed by CETIT and Reus City Council last June 2006, the promoters of the works or activities can also process the application for their permits electronically and with an electronic signature. licenses to the said local administration.
