Basic course INTRODUCTION TO THE NEW INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES

The CETIT / AETIGT Computer Department organizes and offers a basic course on new information technologies that are now part of our social and modern life. Email, Google search engine, Internet browsing and social networks (Facebook and Twitter) are the main contents of this course.

Directed to all those who, based on basic knowledge, want to learn how to move easily through the network and know the different tools that surround it. There will also be a basic explanation for the computer maintenance of our PC, with the tools of the windows environment.

PROGRAM (2 hours):

• The email Generate a free email account and use its tools.
• Manage mail accounts with Outlook. Configuration
• The different web browsers (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Chorme)
• Google search engine: search for data of interest, store images or documents, advanced search)
• Social networks: Facebook and Twitter.
• Computer maintenance of our PC: temporary cleaning, defragmentation, storal, Windows startup.

POINT: Jose Manuel Bonache Arroyo, Manager of the TIC Management and the maintenance of the CETIT / AETIGT systems.

NOTE: It will not be necessary to bring a laptop, computers are available in the classroom to practice during the course.
