A conference on CLIMATE CHANGE has been organized, which is entitled " Can we believe there is climate change?".
In the atmosphere there are gases that have a greenhouse effect, that is, they absorb and re-emit infrared radiation, to prevent part of this radiation from leaking from the earth and that the average surface temperature of the planet is d about 15o C, apt for life. We are talking about a natural phenomenon of the atmosphere.
The current problem is the presence of anthropogenic greenhouse gases, which together with the natural ones make the earth's temperature increase more and more.
A review will be made of how the knowledge has emerged that leads us to find that there is certainly a warming of the atmosphere, which is due to the use of fossil fuels and what limitations the models have in order to predict that What can happen, from a climatic point of view, to our world in the coming years.

Is the scientific coordinator of the study? Report on Climatic Change in Catalonia ?. Contributor to the written press, especially with La Vanguardia, Avui and El Temps.
