A conference entitled " WATER FOR YOU" has been organized, with the objective of publicizing the strategies to provide sustainable water access in developing countries, exemplifying it with the actions of the Catalan Association of Engineering Without Borders in the South.
80% of diseases in developing countries are related to the lack of access to water in the necessary quality and quantity, the lack of sanitation systems and the precarious, and often non-existent, good hygienic practices .
In this talk, they will be shown by what appropriate technologies bets United Nations, international agencies and many of the Non Governmental Organizations, such as Engineering Without Borders, and how it is implemented in the countries where it acts: Cameroon, Gambia, Ethiopia, El Salvador ...
