Course on TOOLS AND TECHNIQUES FOR THE EVALUATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL RISKS IN INDUSTRIAL INSTALLATIONS

DIRECTED: all the technical and environmental management and Safety managers in the industrial facilities that are affected by Law 16/2002 of integrated pollution prevention and control, Seveso II Directive, RD 9/2005 on contaminated soils and, predictably, the environmental liability directive

OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE
- Review the legal requirements of the current Regulations regarding the need to identify and evaluate environmental risks in certain industrial facilities
- Analyze the different methodologies and techniques available to evaluate environmental risks in an industrial facility (EPA methodology, DEFRA, UNE 150008 EX, ENGLISH SPANISH ENVIRONMENTAL RISK, etc.)
- Learn how to apply tools in various industrial environments (development of 5 practical cases)
- Facilitate the decision-making of the technical managers and management of industrial facilities, in the process of continuous improvement of the management of their environmental risks

1. Introduction to the concepts of analysis of environmental risks
2. Legal requirements to assess the environmental risks in an industrial installation
3. Definition of the conceptual framework for the identification and evaluation of environmental risk
4. Chesk-list for the identification of environmental risks
5. Virtual visit to inspection and identification of environmental risks
6. Development of methodologies for the assessment of environmental risks:
a. UNE 150008 ex
b. Seveso II
c. Pool Spanish Environmental Risks
d. Methodology ITSEMAP STM
7. Application of methodologies for the evaluation of environmental risks through work groups
8. Hierarchize and prioritize decision making in the improvement of industrial risk management
9. Conclusions and claims
