The German submarines and the wrecks of the Great War on the Tarragoní coast
Among the lesser known events in the history of our country, it is worth mentioning the military actions carried out by the German submarines against Allied navigation during the First World War. For their configuration or within one of the usual routes of the allied ships, the coasts of Tarragona and the Ebro were exceptional scenarios of those events that resulted in numerous naval battles and the collapse of a great Number of merchant ships, many of them in the nearest publishing house, now converted into an extraordinary archaeological sample from the time of steam navigation.
