Dates: October 30 (Thursday)
Hours: From 09.30 to 13.30 hours
Objectives:

At the end of the course, attendees should be able to answer the following questions:

  • With the new regulation, will I have to make any changes to the design of the machines I manufacture?
  • Or will I have to modify the conformity certification procedure?
  • Will the current technical file continue to be valid with the entry into force of the new regulation?
  • Will I have to change the declaration of conformity?
  • How does the regulation affect me, who am only a user, not a manufacturer of machinery?
  • Will the user who makes a “substantial modification” to a machine have to do anything more than before?
  • In the event of a substantial modification, will the manufacturer's CE marking remain valid?
  • But how can a user know whether the modification is “substantial” or not?
  • How does the concept of “commercialization” vary? How does it affect manufacturers and users?
  • What if what I make is a quasi-machine?
