Programming: | Delve into one of the most tragic and heroic episodes in the history of Tarragona: the siege of 1811 during the French War. This theatrical route runs between the Fortí de Sant Jordi and the Fortí de la Reina, two key spaces in the defense of the city against the Napoleonic army. Through the eyes of Rosa Venas, an anonymous citizen who becomes a symbol of resistance, the audience will relive the last moments before the fall of Tarragona. The route combines landscape, emotion and historical rigor, placing us in a besieged city, where civilians had to make unthinkable decisions to defend their freedom. The experience invites us to reflect on identity, courage and collective memory. An immersive, emotional experience full of dramatic tension, among forts, bunkers and vestiges of a past that still resonates. |
