[COGITI Webinar] The eligible actions of the PREE: access and applicable technological solutions

Organized by: COGITI
Dates: March 18 (Thursday)
Schedule: From 6 pm to 7 pm
Duration: 1 hour
Programming: In addition to making the population aware of the importance of air quality, the webinar will also highlight the role of Engineering in controlling the conditions of well-being, hygiene, safety, health and energy efficiency in the interior of the spaces.
Targets:

In the framework of the actions that are being carried out by the General Council to raise public awareness of the risks assumed in certain situations, where the SARS CoV-2 virus can be transmitted through aerosols and, therefore, contribute to control the transmission of COVID-19 by air in indoor spaces, the Committee of Experts on air conditioning, ventilation and indoor air quality of the General Council of Industrial Technical Engineering of Spain (COGITI) has made it possible the development of the AIR simul application.

As you know, this is a tool that allows you to calculate, through a simulation, the probabilities of risk of infection due to aerosols contaminated by infectious agents in indoor spaces and with low air quality. Currently, the APP is available, completely free, for mobile devices (Android, iPhone / iPad) and the use of this application is very simple and intuitive. In addition, since its inception, a number of improvements and updates have been introduced.

With the aim of explaining its development, operation and evolution, as well as focusing on the importance of air quality and how good ventilation can reduce the risk of spreading diseases such as COVID-19. this webinar is organized.

Speaker:

The Webinar will feature:

- Mr. José Antonio Galdón Ruiz, President of COGITI. Introduction and presentation of the Webinar.

- Mr. José López Padrón, coordinator of the Working Group "Committee of Experts on air conditioning, ventilation and indoor air quality of COGITI", as moderator of the day.

- Mr. Manuel Fernández Casares, member of the Committee of Experts on Air Conditioning, Ventilation and Indoor Air Quality of COGITI. Explanation and demonstration of the AIR simul application and its evolution (latest updates and improvements introduced).

- Mr. José Jesús Arboledas, member of the Committee of Experts on Air Conditioning, Ventilation and Indoor Air Quality of COGITI. How to get proper ventilation in indoor spaces?
