Targets:	With regard to lightning protection, we will discuss the advantages of an installation equipped with lightning bolts, with primers (PCD) devices for materials, construction systems, tests and certifications. In addition, NIMBUS PROJECT software will be presented as a support tool to easily perform calculations according to CTE-SU8 and UNE 21186 regulations. Regarding the protection against overvoltages, the important parameters of the devices that meet the electrical and magnetic effects of the current of the atmospheric discharge in electrical networks, of telephone, measurement and control, radio frequency and local networks will be introduced. A selection guide of the most appropriate protection will also be presented depending on the type and location of the installation to be protected. Exhibit and present the new concept of protection against overvoltages. Help professionals when implementing or designing an installation in accordance with current regulations. Offer solutions for each project and decide what type of protection should be installed. Address any questions or suggestions.
