PRESENTIAL COURSE DESIGNED ON FIRST AID IN RISK ASSOCIATED WITH WORK WITH ELECTRICAL TENSION

Schedule: from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Place: Headquarters of the CETIT, Av. of Rome, 7 of Tarragona.
If the number of attendance confirmation of collegiate in the Terres de l'Ebre is equal to or greater than the minimum stipulated in the activity, CETIT / AETIGT will organize, in the same modality, the training action in the facilities Tortosa's activities.

Teaching staff: Jordi Martínez, Diploma in Nursing, 12 years working in the Fire Department of the Generalitat of Catalonia; more than 10 years as a teacher and consultant in matters of emergencies in companies by teaching this type of course; Technician in Prevention of Occupational Hazards in Occupational Safety and Psychosociology and Ergonomics at work.
Targets:

- Apply correctly the basic principles of first aid.
- Act according to the protocol of action in situations of emergencies of a sanitary nature.
- Know the main injuries and injuries that can be suffered by workers, and in particular those associated with electrical voltage.
- Apply appropriate treatments to the victim, depending on the injuries or pathology that you present.
- Know how to properly assess the victim, in order to know how to treat it until the arrival of the health services.
- Practice the techniques in simulated situations and workshops of basic sanitary techniques.

Contents:

1. Introduction and contextualization of the course
2. First aid and emergency health situations. Basics
3. Management of occupational accidents at the time of occurrence.
4. Basic concepts of health and pathologies.
5. Basic pathologies and the fundamental techniques of action.
6. Electrical risk. Pathophysiology of this type of lesion and its treatment.
7. Workshops in which to treat and practice each of the pathologies seen in the course

Recipients: A part of the course is intended for any person of the company that can be found in a situation of health emergency due to occupational accident or illness. The second part of the course will be oriented and directed strictly to those workers who are exposed to the electrical risk.
Documentation: Tracking documentation will be delivered.
What is the FTFE? The TRIPARTITA FOUNDATION FOR TRAINING IN EMPLOYMENT is the body that regulates, controls and administers the annual credit that all companies have to train their employees. With this credit, the allowances are deducted through payments to the Social Security, through the TCs. Who can bonify? Workers who are listed in the general regime.
